The Summon Platform is a comprehensive solution for intuitive decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) creation, on-blockchain voting, governance and treasury management, and access to decentralized finance (DeFi) utilities designed to enable high-functioning DAOs to flourish on the Cardano blockchain and ecosystem. The platform features scalable voting, transparent yield, on-chain security, treasury wallet management, and access to popular Cardano DeFi primitives. The Summon Platform makes summoning DAOs on Cardano easy for everyone, and is slated for release Q4 2022.

The Summon Platform is comprised of Summon Association, Summon Labs, and ADAO.

Summon Association, a not-for-profit organization established in Zug, Swizerland, encourages the development of DAO tooling, in particular The Summon Platform's DAO operating system itself. The Association is committed to facilitating partnerships that will advance The Summon Platform ecosystem, support open-source software initiatives for decentralized governance and coordination, and work with any group that wishes to use the platform to advance DAO tooling and techniques. Summon Association owns The Summon Platform brand and licenses the DAO operating system in a perpetual, exclusive license. The Association generates and distributes $SUMMON utility tokens, which are used as a governance tool on The Summon Platform, some of which are sold and some are granted to organizations which build DAO tools. The Association owns the summonplatform.io website as "the voice of The Summon Platform ecosystem" as well as corresponding social media accounts. Summon Association's president and co-founder is Adam Rusch, PhD, of the University of Illinois.

Summon Labs, incorporated in Wyoming, United States, is the development and commercialization arm of The Summon Platform. Summon Labs was formed to be the Platform's foundational development team, and it is important to note that other development teams are welcomed to build on and expand The Summon Platform as well. Summon Labs manages the important tasks of research and development of DAO tooling for use in The Summon Platform's DAO operating system. Software created by Summon Labs will be variously licensed as open source software, made available to the broader community to advance DAOs generally, or as proprietary middleware. Summon Labs's executive team comprises Thomas DiMatteo, Co-Founder and CEO; Riley Kilgore, Co-Founder and CTO; Matthew Bowen, Esq., Co-Founder and General Counsel.

ADAO, the first DAO to be established on the Cardano blockchain, has developed a substantial number of open source software repositories, many of which form the foundations of The Summon Platform. ADAO remains a highly active and agile DAO, leveraging the benefits of The Summon Platform's ecosystem to advance the DAO membership's vision.
